I like the new one! However, the left shoulder pad should be higher than the right for proper isometric. Also, for shading metals you'll definitely benefit from Stava's shading guides here.

Edit: That isometric looks a lot better on the second try, good job!

I love my two newest creations.. The male one turned out surprisingly well. Much better than I had expected. As for my female armor, I think it's just plain cool. ;)

The green one is my favorite of the newer one. I'd make the design on the green smaller and repeated in a diamond fashion, it'd look very nice!
For a change of pace, I think you should look up some references on the internet and pixel from life. It might make your designs more realistic, which is always good.
