Hello, I have the newest Windows 8 and tried to install/play BU. I had ran it as admin and it just froze without going to the opening credits. This happens everytime I try to run the game and cannot even access the login options.

Windows 8 has some compatibility issues with older programs. Try running the program in compatibility mode by following the steps listed here.

It seems people with Windows 8 have been using the Multiclient.exe packaged in the download to launch BU. Try that if running in compatibility mode doesn't work.

im probs a bit late to say this but i have windows 8 i would recomend downloading 'winwar' for Bu/other EO games it wroks better
